At The Music Atelier, we strongly believe that music fundamentals such as note-reading, aural proficiency, correct postures and a strong understanding of rhythm patterns are essential for music training. Coupled with these, honing hand-eye coordination, accurate techniques, and the motivation for purposeful practice between lessons, will allow our students to develop their musical talents in the capacities they desire.

 

We also recognize that each student is different with his and her own very unique potential for growth. Hence, we have structured our music lessons on a one-to-one basis so students can have not just the undivided attention of our music teachers, but also a comfortable dyadic rapport that allows greater opportunities to engage in creative interactive learning.

 

For students who prefer group learning, we have guitar and ukulele lessons catered to groups of no more than 3. Such lessons are structured with leisure learning in mind, so students can inspire each other, while allowing learning to be meaningful and fun.
